Read moreThe Department of Mechanical Engineering AVIT in association with Entrepreneurship Development Center (EDC), organized a one day workshop on 26.03.2019 titled “Creativity and Business” for II, III & IV year students of various departments.
The expert speaker Dr. K. GURUSAMI, CEO, Project Manager, Technology Business Incubation, St. Peter’s University, Chennai. Prof. L. Prabhu, Head – Department of Mechanical Engineering & Program Director, IPIC, welcomed and honoured the chief guest and gave the Presidential address. Prof. N. Lakshminarayanan, Deputy Director, EDC gave the welcome address. Dr. D. Bubeshkumar, Associate Professor, Department of Mechanical Engineering, organized the seminar and introduced the guest. Nearly 50 students from II, III & IV students of Mech, ECE, EEE, Civil, Biotech participated in the seminar.
In his speech the speaker explained the students about the importance of creativity in business. The session was interactive and had numerous audio and video lectures. The guest explained the importance of creativity in business to survive in the competitive business environment. He also explained the traditional business ideas and the implications involved. He explained how creativity helps in propelling the business to next level.

The students gained knowledge about creativity in business. This workshop was an eye opening session for the students about the importance of creativity in business to survive in the competitive environment. The speaker quoted some live examples in the current business scenario for better understanding. The workshop was helpful and the students were benefited out the workshop.
