Qualification
Dr.KavithaB C received her Ph.D. in Fault Identification and Data Management in IoT Mobile Edge Environments from Hindustan Institute of Technology and Science. Prior to her doctorate, she completed Master of Engineering in Communication Systems from Anna University andB.Tech in Electronics Engineering from Cochin University of Science and Technology.
Awards and Recognitions
Dr.Kavitha B C is an active member of IET and life time member of IETE. Her professional excellence is marked by several accolades, including the Best Faculty Award and an Encouragement Award from HITS in 2021. She has been granted 2 Australian patents for her work on Industrial IoT Data Management and Mammogram Image Analysis for cancer detection. Additionally, she received a Best Paper Award at the 60th IETE Annual Convention and a Patent Award in 2023. She has around 30 research publications and over 212 total citations.

Dr.Kavitha B C has a robust publication record with over 30 Scopus-indexed documents, including high-impact journal articles, book chapters and conference papers. Her research covers diverse topics such as 5G-IoT path loss modelling, Pollution monitoring using Raspberry-Pi and Machine learning for Industrial Automation. She has also authored book chapters for Springer Nature concerning Fault detection and Predictive Maintenance in the IIoT sector. Her collaborative conference work includes innovative projects like Brain-wave controlled wheelchairsand Smart wearable devices for the blind.
