Dr. Shajahan is Associate Professor and Assistant Director at the Center for Nanotechnology Research, AVIT. He holds PhD from the University of Madras, with research focused on chitosan-based nanomaterials and biotechnological applications, and completed postdoctoral research at the Entomology Research Institute on plant-based nanobotanical pesticide development. He is actively involved in collaborative research at the Department of Microbiology and Biotechnology (DMBT), AVMC, Puducherry, and is engaged in mentoring and guiding PhD scholars. His research interests include biomaterials, nanobiotechnology, polymeric drug delivery systems, and wound healing materials, supported by national and international collaborations with an emphasis on Q1–Q2 journal publications.
Dr. M. Surendiran is an Associate Professor whose research spans nanobiomaterials, corrosion science, sustainable materials, and bio-ceramic coatings for biomedical and engineering applications. He has published extensively in high-impact international journals, holds multiple patents, and has secured competitive funding from UGC, VMRF (DU), and Tamil Nadu state agencies. His academic leadership includes research administration, NAAC accreditation, and doctoral mentoring, with a strong focus on translational and impact-driven materials research. He also has international research experience as a Visiting Scientist at the National Institute for Materials Science (NIMS), Japan.
Dr. G. Suresh is an Associate Professor with over 17 years of teaching and 19 years of research experience. His research focuses on nanostructured biomaterials, polymeric nanocomposites, environmental toxicology, and photocatalytic materials, with more than 65 international journal publications, an h-index of 20, and recognition as a World Top 2% Scientist. He is an approved PhD supervisor at VMRF(DU), Anna University, Bharathiar University, and Annamalai University, has led funded national and international research projects, and actively collaborates with global research groups, emphasizing high-impact, application-oriented materials research.
Dr. Suganya Josephine G. A. is an Assistant Professor in the Department of Chemistry at Aarupadai Veedu Institute of Technology (AVIT), Vinayaka Mission Research Foundation, Chennai. She holds a Ph.D. in Chemistry from CSIR–Central Leather Research Institute (CLRI) and has also served as a CSIR Research Associate. Her research interests include semiconductor nanomaterials, photocatalysis, and environmental remediation. She has published extensively in reputed international journals, holds a granted patent, and actively guides Ph.D. scholars at VMRF.
