Dr.B.Prabasheela, M.Sc., M.Phil., Ph.D. is working as Associate Professor & HOD i/c of Pharmaceutical Engineering. She has obtained her master degree from Annamalai University and Ph.D from Vinayaka Missions research Foundation in 2014. She provided her research contribution in the Context Biochemical Changes in Pre and Post operative Breast Carcinoma.

She is a highly energetic, dynamic and self-motivated person. She has 21 years of teaching experience. Her expertise areas are Cancer Biology, clinical diagnosis, Biochemical Analysis, Nano science, phytochemical studies. She has published more than 35 publications in various International / National Journals and also presented papers in National / International conferences. She has Published 1 Patent “Eco Friendly Solid Mosquito repellent”. She is also a reviewer and Editorial Board member in various reputed journal. She has been awarded as” Best faculty” by Chennai Teachers Club in the year 2021, Women Researcher award (International scientist award on Engineering, Science and Medicine) 2021 by VDGOOD professional Association, Trivandrum, AVIT Women Achiever award 2022. She has delivered expert Lectures in Conference, Workshops and Seminars sharing her expertise on various areas with the academic fraternity and also to the village folk.

She is the Life Member in ISTE and Society for Biotechnologists. She has organized, attended and chaired many programmes. She has visited School of renewable energy technology, Naresuan University, Phitsanulok, Thailand in 2016 for Faculty/Student Exchange Program .She is also a social activist and has rendered services to the society through NSS and Unnat Bharat Abhiyan (UBA) Platform of AVIT. She is a proactive person who has played lot of roles as academician and as coordinator of UBA.
