Objectives of the Student induction Program (SIP)
- AVIT’s Student Induction Program supports new students with a smooth transition into university life through welcoming, adaptation support, and education on university culture and values via mentorship.
- The induction program clarifies course objectives, curriculum, and skills, preparing students effectively for their academic path with a strong foundational understanding.
- SIP fosters an environment where students understand and accept their peers, promotes early integration with faculty, mentors, and the institution, and builds rapport with senior students and alumni.
- SIP informs students about campus life, cultural, sports, and entertainment opportunities, and emphasizes safety, security, and health to ensure they thrive in their new environment.
- The induction sessions on Universal Human Values (UHV) instill ethical values, fostering integrity, empathy, and social responsibility, ensuring students grow into conscientious individuals who positively impact campus and society.
- The Student Induction Program (SIP) at AVIT educates students on green initiatives, promoting environmental responsibility and active participation in sustainability practices.
- SIP introduces students to campus clubs such as NSS and Rotary, fostering community involvement, leadership, and ethical responsibility while encouraging participation in service and cultural activities to enhance personal development.
